Cerasee, also known as bitter melon or bitter gourd, is a type of vine with medicinal properties. In Jamaican culture, it is commonly used to make a traditional herbal tea. The tea is brewed by steeping the leaves and stems of the Cerasee plant in hot water. Although bitter in taste, Cerasee tea is consumed for its believed health benefits, including aiding digestion and detoxification.
